rainbows and sparkles

i like pretty things.

Quick and simple vintage rose tutorial:

1/ Start with base color. [I used Essies’ Turquoise & Caicos]

2/ Apply a dab of light pink. Doesnt have to be perfect. [Sinful Colors’ Beautiful Girl]

3/ Using toothpick, lightly line edges with dark pink and add a quick swirl to the middle [China Glaze’s Make an Entrance]

4/ Using toothpick, swirl in a tiny amount of white to the middle [Sinful Colors’ Snow Me White]

5/ With a toothpick, make triangle shapes for the leaves with a green [Sinful Colors’ San Francisco]

6/ Finish with a top coat to bring it all together [I use Seche Vite]

Tips: when using toothpicks, apply a drop of color to a piece of paper. It’s easier to pick up the right amount with the toothpick. Dont swirl too much or you will just end up with a pink dot!

Hope you try it and this helped! :)
